Andrea's Favourite Oatmeal

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of Quick Cooking Oatmeal
  • 2 cups of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk or milk you usually use
  • ½ tsp of Grown Cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp of Honey
  • 1 Large Banana, sliced
  • Fresh Berries (optional)
  • ¼ cup of Sliced Almonds, toasted

Preparation

  • In a small saucepan, add the almond milk and bring to a boil. 
  • Add the oatmeal (mine is from Lidl store and it is the cheapest one but soo yummy ) and cook it for about 1 to 2 minutes (depending on how mushy you like it) stir in the cinnamon and set aside. 
  •  Divide the mixture between two bowls, top each one with some of the sliced banana, a drizzle of honey and some toasted almonds. 
  •  Enjoy right away! This is a breakfast that really feels like a treat!

 I wanted to share with you my favourite morning breakfast and that is porridge or oatmeal because I think this is the best choice for hasty mornings. Do you agree? It is so easy peasy recipe and you will love it. All you have to do is cook oats for 2 minutes with milk and when it's done just add banana, fresh berries and drizzle with honey and that is it. The recipe is super simple and when your morning alarm goes off, you can just head to the kitchen and make your morning totally effortless. So please tell me, what is your favourite morning breakfast?
