Easter Cupcakes with Nests

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing with you my recipe for Easter cupcakes with nests. They are so delicious and perfect for Easter after good lunch. I love making cupcakes and specially for some holiday. They are absolutely easy to make so let's get started.

1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Stick Un-Salted Butter, softened
2 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 tsp Salt
1 1/3 Cups All Purpose Flour
1/3 Cup Whole Milk

For the Frosting:
      1. stick of unsalted butter, softened
    ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
1 16oz Box of Powdered Sugar

Chocolate nests:
    125 g chocolate, melted
    Shredded Wheat
    Mini Eggs

    1) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line your cupcake tin with liners and set aside.

    2) In a mixing bowl fitted with a paddle attachment, cream together the sugar and butter. Add the eggs and vanilla and cream together until you get a smooth mixture. Add the dry ingredients and with the speed on low mix together and slowly add the milk and just mix everything to combine. DO NOTOVERMIX! Make sure you give everything a good stir with a spatula from the bottom to incorporate any bit that wasn’t mixed.

    3) Scoop the batter into your lined cupcake tin, make sure its only filled ¾ of the way up because they will rise. Bake for 20 minutes and let cool for about 45 minutes before frosting.

    4) To make the frosting combine together powdered sugar and butter and vanilla extract and mix 5 minutes until the frosting look white. Add the frosting in a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe the frosting onto the cupcakes.

Make chocolate nests by adding broken shredded wheat into the melted chocolate, shape into a nest, leaving a hollow centre. Allow to cool. When cold put some mini eggs into the nest.

6)These little beauties are so delicious and beautiful that I promise you everybody is going to think that you went to a fancy shmancy bakery and bought them. I make cupcakes very often because they always get a wow reaction from everybody and of course they are delicious!

Wishing you and your family a Happy Easter!

Afternoon Tea at Andrea's

Hi everyone!
I am obsessed with Tea party's and all that kind of stuff! Since we moved to London few months ago I'm trying to learn as much as I can about English tradition and afternoon tea is something that I always wanted to try. I thought why not to make affordable fancy tea party at home. Today I collaborate with I'm using Miss Etoile brand so you should definitely check them out. So I make a lot of fun treats and drinks that I'm going to show you in video so make sure you watch it here.

Also, Zaful still have sale Valentines day 2018 so hurry up for your favourite item! I grab on sale this beautiful Zaful backpack

         1. CAKE STAND
                    3. CUP & SAUCER SET
            5. PASTRY FORKS
                8. FRESH FLOWERS

1. Keep the food simple- I like savoury things like crackers and cheese and tea sandwiches, sweet things like cupcakes and cookies, and lots of fresh fruit like strawberries.

2. Keep the drinks simple- for adults offer hot tea and iced tea or maybe lemonade as well.

3. Keep the decor simple- pick a simple colour palette and have fun with it!  For this afternoon tea I did pink, black and white.

4. Keep the clean-up to a minimum- use attractive paper or plastic plates and napkins- there are so many great colours and patterns these days, have fun selecting a few that match your theme.

5. Have fun!  Buy or make the food and drinks ahead of time, set the table the night before, do as much as you can ahead of time so you can have fun with your guests!
